Have just received the beautiful card you sent. (As opposed, I guess, to all the ugly cards you *didn't* send. The reindeer kissing Santa Claus card. The teal-and-orange partridge in a denuded pear tree card. That kind of thing.) Dark and bright, light in the creatrix's hands.

It also reminds that I should really re-read Dark is Rising and maybe all five books. I never quite got the series as a series, even though the books were intriguing. Maybe mature reconsideration will improve it.
